What stays on your computer

Your translation history, vocabulary and settings are stored in a folder on your computer, and nowhere else unless you turn on a sync option that uses your own cloud folder. Keys you enter for your own translation services are encrypted with Windows data protection. Password fields and protected windows are skipped entirely.

Screen translation recognises text on your computer. The screenshot it reads never leaves your machine; only the recognised text is sent to the translation service you chose.

Offline translation runs on your computer. Its language models are downloaded once from our own download server and checked against published checksums; after that, the text you translate with it is never sent anywhere.

Text you translate

Text goes, over an encrypted connection, to the translation service you picked in the application. Services you add with your own key are governed by their own privacy policies.

When you use our hosted translation service, the text passes through our gateway on Cloudflare and is translated by Cloudflare Workers AI. We do not log it — only its length, to count your daily allowance. A finished translation may be kept in Cloudflare's cache for up to 24 hours, so that the same request is answered without translating again; it expires on its own.

The hosted writing assistant works the same way: the text passes through our gateway to Cloudflare Workers AI and is not logged. A rewrite is kept for one hour, tied to your account, only so that a retry of the same request after a dropped connection is answered without charging or rewriting again.

In private mode, nothing leaves your computer at all: no online translation, no online speech, no crash reports and no sync.

If you create an account

• Your email address and password. The password is stored only as a secure hash by our authentication provider; we never see it.
• Your plan and credits: which plan you are on, when it renews, and a record of every credit added or used.
• Daily usage counts: how many characters of the hosted service you used each day. Counts, never the text.
• Payments: the PayPal reference, amount, currency and status of each payment. Your card or bank details go to PayPal, never to us.

Crash reports

If the application crashes it can send a technical report — the error, the application version and the Windows version — so we can fix it. Reports never contain the text you were working with. Private mode turns them off.

This website

No cookies, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking. Your browser remembers your theme and language in its local storage, and — while the tab is open — your sign-in session. Closing the tab ends the session.

Who else processes data

• Supabase — accounts, sign-in and the database behind plans and credits.
• Cloudflare — this website, our gateway, and the hosted translation service.
• PayPal — payments and subscriptions.
• Zoho ZeptoMail — account emails such as confirmation and password reset.

Each processes data only to provide its part of the service. We do not sell data, share it with advertisers, or use your content to train models.

How long we keep it

Account data is kept for as long as your account exists. Payment records are kept for as long as accounting and tax rules require, even after an account is deleted.

Your choices

• See your plan, credits and payment history at any time on your Account page.
• Ask for a copy of your data, a correction, or deletion of your account by writing from your account address to info@khadhami.com. We act on deletion requests within 30 days and confirm when it is done.

Children

Accounts are not intended for children under 13.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top of this page changes with it. If a change matters to you, we will email you before it takes effect.
