Terms of Service

1. Who we are, and what these terms cover

Khadhami Translator is made by Hayl Khadhami ("we"). These terms cover your account, the hosted services (the hosted translation service, screen translation, live subtitles and the per-file services) and the payments for them. The software itself is licensed to you under the End User Licence Agreement included with the installer; section 3 of that agreement says paid services are provided separately, and these are those terms.

2. Your account

• Give a real email address you can receive mail at. It is how you sign in, and how we reach you.
• Keep your password to yourself. An account is for one person.
• You are responsible for what happens under your account. If you think someone else has used it, change your password and tell us at info@khadhami.com.

3. Pro

• Pro is a subscription billed by PayPal. The price, and the length of each period, are shown next to the button before you pay.
• Pro may begin with a lower introductory price for its first period. After that it renews automatically at the regular price until you cancel.
• Pro includes a monthly credit allowance. It is added once each calendar month while the subscription is active and paid, the first time you use your account that month, and it does not expire. Allowance credits come with the plan rather than being bought, so they are not refundable.
• You can cancel at any time from your PayPal account. Cancelling stops the next payment; Pro keeps working until the end of the period already paid for.
• If a renewal payment fails, PayPal retries it. If it still fails, your account returns to the free plan until payment succeeds.

4. Credits

• Credits are prepaid units for per-file services, priced on the Account and pricing pages.
• Credits do not expire. They are not money, have no cash value and cannot be transferred to another account.
• A service takes its credits when you start the work, and returns them automatically if the work fails.
• Some per-file services are still being launched. Credits bought before a service is available keep their full value until it is.

5. Refunds

Refunds follow our Refund Policy: unused credits within 14 days, never spent ones, and subscriptions running to the end of the period paid for.

6. Price changes

We may change prices. A new price never applies to a period you have already paid for. For an existing subscription we will email you at least 30 days before a new price takes effect, so you can cancel first if you prefer. Credits already bought keep their value.

7. Fair use

We may suspend an account that:

• shares its sign-in with other people;
• works around the daily allowance or any other limit;
• resells, re-hosts or automates access to the service for others;
• attacks, overloads or probes the service, or uses it for anything unlawful.

Where we can, we will tell you why and give you a chance to respond first.

8. Availability

We work to keep the service running, but we do not guarantee that it will always be available, uninterrupted or error-free. We may change or retire features. If we retire a paid service entirely, we will refund the credits you can no longer use.

9. Your content

The text and files you translate remain yours. We process them only to provide the service, and we do not use them to train anything. Our Privacy Policy explains exactly where they go.

10. Liability

Sections 6 and 7 of the End User Licence Agreement — no warranty, and the limitation of liability — apply to the hosted services too. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have by law that cannot be limited.

11. Ending your account

You can stop using the service at any time and ask us to delete your account at info@khadhami.com. If we close the service or your account for any reason other than a breach of these terms, we will refund your unused credits.

12. Changes to these terms

If we change these terms, we will update the date at the top of this page. If a change matters to you, we will email you before it takes effect.
